ID Educators, Inc. is a Florida based corporation, formed to serve the needs of small businesses who are subject to regulatory compliance with the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), as mandated by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Identity Theft and related fraud poses significant threat not only to consumers, but also the business owner, its employees, suppliers and the business entity itself. Since 1995, approximately 10 million victims per year struggle to undo the damage caused by Identity Theft and related fraud. The government and the private sector must be vigilant in protecting non-public information collected in the normal course of business.

ID Educators, Inc. President Jan Gudis, brings thirty years of real world experience, having owned several successful small businesses. Most recently, Jan was in the mortgage industry with a specialty in consumers with credit issues. She developed the Fresh Start Homebuyers Program for consumers to rehabilitate their credit and develop a family budget prior to homeownership. She was also host of a weekly radio show "Your Money, Your Home" aired in the Orlando, FL market and was named Business Person of the Year in 2006 by the Oviedo - Winter Springs Chamber of Commerce.

Jan is also a member of Toastmasters International and has earned the Advanced Communicator Bronze award. Jan holds several independent certifications including, Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist (CITRMS) and Certified Loss Mititgation Consultant (CLMC) and is recognized by many as an expert on credit issues.

Jan knows first hand the challenges small business owners face and has long been an advocate for small business having served 4 years on the Board of Directors of the Winter-Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Seasoned corporate sales trainer, speaker and motivator Nick Nicholas serves as ID Educators, Inc. Vice President and Director of Training.

Since retiring from the Army in 1989, Nick has worked with a diverse selection of Fortune 500 companies including General Motors, Home Depot, Amoco Oil, AT&T and community banking associations in 38 states. He has a strong business backgound and owned his own training and consulting company for over 18 years.

Nick has been a member of the National Speakers Association and has achieved their highest earned award of Certified Speaking Professional (CSP). He is also a member of Toastmasters International and has earned the Advance Communicator Silver award. Additionally he served two terms as the President of his local club.

Nick refocused his training business and became a Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist (CITRMS) after seeing the devastating affect this heinous crime has not only on a company's bottom line but also on the morale and welfare of its employees. Realizing big business faces the small issues as small business just on a larger scale, Nick helps small biz owners navigate their way through a myrid of decisions.
